Our Catalogue Binding Types
The presentation and usability of your catalogue rely heavily on the binding method you choose. We provide many binding solutions for different sorts of booklets and catalogues:
Saddle Stitched Catalogue: A cost-effective option for high-quality booklet and catalogue printing. Catalogues are saddle-stitched and stapled through the fold for a clean, professional appearance. They can be printed on various paper choices with a gloss or matte finish.
We print A4 and A5 sizes in both landscape and portrait orientations. This binding is appropriate for catalogues up to 60 pages since it results in a flat spine and flexible booklet.
Perfect Bound Booklets/Catalogues: Our catalogues have a polished and premium look, with hot melt glue binding the pages to a wrap-around cover. This binding style is ideal for thicker catalogues and results in a professional, bookshelf-quality finish. It is highly suggested for large catalogues that demand both endurance and aesthetic appeal.
Wire Bound Booklets/Catalogues: Wire binding is a popular choice for product catalogues and manuals as it allows them to rest flat when opened, boosting usability. It’s also less expensive for short runs or smaller orders because the setup costs are lower than with other binding methods.
Proofing Your Catalogue Printing Job
Eureka Printing provides complete proofing tools to ensure your catalog printing meets your expectations.
PDF Proof: We can offer you with a digital PDF proof so you can preview your catalogue before final approval.
Hard Copy Proof: For complete piece of mind, get a hard copy proof. This means we will produce a sample booklet on the paper stock you chose and send it to you for evaluation. A hard copy proof assures that the colors, paper quality, and layout are exactly what you want before the complete print run begins.

What is bleed & trim in catalogue printing?
Bleed is the region that extends over your printed page’s final trim size. It is usually 1/8 inch (3mm) of extra space surrounding your design to guarantee that background colors, graphics, or design components continue all the way to the edge after cutting. Include bleed in your file to avoid white borders on your final product and achieve a professional look. Without correct bleed, vital visuals may appear chopped off or misaligned, making it critical for high-quality printing.
Trim marks (also known as crop marks) are small lines placed at the corners of a printed document to indicate where the final piece should be trimmed or cut after printing.
Example:
If you’re printing a standard A5 page (148 × 210 mm), the artwork might be supplied as 154 × 216 mm (to include a 3 mm bleed on each side). Trim marks tell the printer to cut it down to the final A5 size.
What is the minimum order quantity?
At Eureka Printing, our minimum print run is 50 books, making it easy to start small. There’s no maximum — we can accommodate orders of any quantity.
We print on digital press or offset press, depending on your order size. Digital printing is ideal for smaller runs, offering flexibility and quick turnaround, while offset printing is more cost-effective for larger quantities.
No matter the size of your order, we maintain the same high-quality standards and professional service, ensuring every book looks polished and premium.
What paper options can Eureka offer?
Eureka has a wide choice of paper alternatives to meet your demands, including glossy, matte, uncoated, recycled, and textured stocks in a variety of thicknesses. We supply both premium and basic stocks ideal for book covers and internal pages ranging from novels to photo books.
Whether you want brilliant colors or a traditional, natural look, we have paper to fit your vision and budget. Our specialists can also offer the most suitable paper for your project.
Do you offer hard copy proofs?
Eureka offers loose sheets hard copy proofs (unbound for perfect binding and bound for saddle stitched and wire binding jobs) upon request, available at an additional cost. A hard proof is a physical sample of your project that accurately represents the final product in terms of colour, layout and paper stock.
While digital soft proofs are standard and sufficient for most jobs, a hard copy proof provides extra confidence, especially for large print runs or colour-sensitive projects. It’s the best way to ensure everything looks exactly as intended before moving to mass production.
If you’d like a hard proof of the loose sheets prepared, just let us know—we’re happy to arrange one for you.
How do I provide my files to you?
You can submit files to Eureka by email, using a file transfer service (such as WeTransfer or Dropbox). We accept high-resolution, CMYK colour setting files to achieve the best print quality. It is critical to include crop marks and 3mm bleed in your file configuration.
Before transmitting, make sure all fonts are embedded and photos are at least 300 dpi. If you need help with the submission procedure, our team is happy to assist you.
Which file types can I provide?
At Eureka Printing, we recommend uploading your artwork as a PDF file for the most accurate and reliable print results. PDF format ensures your design stays consistent and compatible with our professional print systems.
What types of catalogues can you print?

Both physical and digital formats are available to suit your needs. From business brochures to educational materials, we’ve got you covered. Each catalogue is customised to reflect your content and branding.

Saddle Stitched is ideal for smaller booklets, Perfect Bound is suitable for thicker catalogues, and Wire Bound is great for manuals that need to lay flat. Each option comes with various paper and finish choices. Our team can help recommend the best binding for your project.
